It seems like it's been a long time since I wrote my my last blog entry and that a lot has happened but it's only been four days. The reason it seems a lot has happened is that I finally got my X32 Compact to replace the MX2642 and have spent a lot of time setting it up and learning how to use it. I've rearranged the studio, mainly to minimize the mess caused by all the cables and am in the planning stages to build a cable patch bay to the right of the desk that will provide in wall connectivity to multiple locations in all of the studio rooms. That project should take a good bit of time and I should have it completed by the end of July if nothing comes up. They say a picture is worth a thousand words so rather than trying to describe the X32 and how I've rearranged the main studio I'll just show you some pictures.
